Product introduction
The HAND-X®/XD is a patented revolutionary product developed for the comfort and safety of operators in
radiography.
This true wireless remote control gives the operator full control of all features of the generator.
When operating in open field for instance, the monitoring of the area under exposure requires that the X-ray exposure can be interrupted at any time. When the control unit is already in the monitored area, this implies that the operator will have to penetrate the area to proceed to the interruption of the exposure. This is not the case with the Hand X which, thanks to it integrated dosimeter, will also alert the user about the exact level of radiation. If for any reason the level is exceeding the level set by the user, the unit will automatically be shut down by the remote. The Hand-X/XD is also fully independent from the generator and can be exchanged without supplementary settings than switching off and on the full set to be ready to operate with a new set. And if you are not allowed to operate with radio operated devices, you may just put back the Hand-X/XD on its cradle and get back to astandard wired communication.
The CF2000 & the DC1 are compact control units that can be used with any of the generator of the standard Baltospot series (GF and CERAM for the CF2000 & LLX for the DC1). They have been designed to be integrated in industrial environments. Large handles are placed on both sides to help transport while also protecting military metallic type plugs. A convenient metallic cover is protecting the keypad. The colour is bright yellow to make it easily visible in dark areas.
They only need to be connected to a generator to recognize it and to adapt all parameters accordingly. The same control unit can then control Panoramic or Directional units without tiresome operations. Both of the units are the perfect choice for fixed or semi-fixed installations or for field operations where sufficient room exists or shielded areas are present.
The DC1 can easily be recognized to its red handles and its size that is slightly smaller than the CF2000, it cannot operate pulsed wave units like the CERAM or the GF series as the CF2000 cannot operate CP units.
