The vertical scanner is a special development for Oil and Gas exploration. If they drill into the ground and take some core probes they want to scan vertically, like it was originally. And very often they want to press liquid through it with high pressure like it happens in nature. And they want to do all this during scantime. All competitors can only provide horizontal scanners which was the only choice in the past. But you cannot press liquid through a lying core. This is why we developed the vertical scan. We can provide the scanner in almost any size. The largest we sold so far was for Shell. It need its own building , shielded, air conditioned, equipped with a huge crane to maneuver the cores into the scanner.We can also provide table top versions. It just depends on the dimension of the core.
