The 5th China Bangchui Island Cancer Symposia are held by Tumor academic association, CAE and Dalian Medical University, the CO-Organizers are Cancer Center of Dalian Medical University, Liaoning Provincal Tumour Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical College and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical College, prepares to meet at Dalian, China. The first session of China · Bangchui Island Cancer Symposia was initiated by academician Qimin Zhan in 2012. It is composed of the winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and has formed notable scale and gradually developed into "small scale and top level". (Qimin Zhan, academician from Chinese Academy of Engineering). We also establish the Bangchui Island Society and the Bangchui Island forum. The Bangchui Island forum namely" China · Dalian International Cancer Frontier Forum ", referred to as the "Bangchuidao Meeting" shall become an annual event.
Mr. Qimin Zhan ia in charge of this meeting. We also invite the academicians of CAE, Fellows of Thousand people plan, Winners of winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and renewed experts home and broad . They will make reports on the meetings. At present, the Bangchuidao Meeting has been organized for four times, drawing scholars’ close attention home and abroad. In the past four years, the forum has brought together 6 academicians (four from Chinese Academy of Engineering, one from China Academy of Sciences and one from Academia Sinica, Taiwan), 13 Chief Scientists of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), 52“National Nature Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar” and 22“Cheung Kong scholars”. The forum functions as a communicative platform sharing the latest research progress from basic research & clinical diagnosis and treatment of oncology. The combination of traditional reports, mutual interactions and discussions make the scientific communication accessible and fruitful.
